6th August, Recent Purchase: Pale Purple Beauty

Lilac Fluffy Cardigan / Miss Selfridge 

As soon as I saw this delicate cardigan beautifully hanging up behind a floral playsuit in Miss Selfridge the other day, firstly I questioned why such a cutie was hidden behind this hideous coral piece and then I think I nearly cried with happiness.. something along those lines. The off-purple-almost grey fluffy textured cardigan was just there, waiting for me to pick it up (its also available online here). They didn't really make a feature of the cardigan as credited but as soon as I saw the material I muttered "please be a cardigan, please be a cardigan" - and to my luck, it was!

Its quite odd that I was tempted to buy a thick and fluffy cardigan on a such blazing hot day in July but as I write this post, looking out of my bedroom window at the pouring rain, I wouldn't say I was completely mindless to be thinking of the cold again. Lets be honest, you'd be lying if you said you hadn't been creating lists  and piecing together in your mind your A/W13 wardrobes already.. (obviously starting with the autumn arrivals from H&M here cough cough) 

British weather is so predictable in the fact that its unpredictable and after selling my car and getting drenched from the rain yesterday I am most definitely on the hunt once again for the perfect coat.. Wow, that time of year already?
